I'm not the one that made the rule, just repeating it. You can if and but all you want. There is an unwritten rule about conferences like the Summit league. One bid leagues until they aren't. I don't understand exactly how you don't become one bid anymore but it isn't by losing to a 150 RPI team in your first game of the conference tourney. Reality check people.

That's one way to look at it.

I nominate SoDakJack for a position on the NCAA Selection committee. Obviously he know more than the committee

I respectfully decline. If I wanted a job where I used my influence to make or break kids' dreams, I would go to work for a Disney theme park. Although some would say the NCAA is a bigger Mickey Mouse operation than Disney.

Back to my point, I don't think that SDSU earned at at-large this year. All I was stating was this is the first year since we joined the Summit that a woman's program was given serious thought as an at large. Getting multiple bids is all about perception. For as great as the Jackrabbits dominance has been for us, it has just perpetuated the idea that the rest of the teams are bad. It will take other teams winning (either non-con games or the auto bid) once and awhile to change that.
-South Dakotan by birth, a Jackrabbit by choice.

The only reason for this is that this is the first year that SDSU hasn't won the league tournament.

The year we were ranked top 25 and beat TCU in the first round we would have had a shot at an at-large had we lost conference tourney.

NDSU also would have been in the discussion this year with their low 40's RPI.
