Good game against a quality opponent.  The Jacks went to their house and beat them by more than the #1 team in the nation beat them.  That's a pretty good showing.

Anyone hear the attendance? They had 10,000 for the Maryland game.

Sounds like we played a good physical game. I understand the home radio announcers and all but did anyone else think they were ragging on our team just a little bit too much? It seemed like we traveled or fouled every time down the court according to them. Then they had their big thing about what a disappointing loss this was for them. Obviously MTSU is good, but give our girls some credit. They played their hearts out and won a well deserved victory.

Vogel Puts in 23, and gets 7 rebounds to remind people just how good she is. Verdegan puts in 11, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Oistad plays solid like she did in the exhibition season with 10 points.

At the very end of the broadcast, the announcers at MTSU finally called attention to how good South Dakota State's women's basketball program was. Give the devil their due I guess. They also noted that we were now 2-1 on them in our three games.
This was a GREAT win on the road to start the season. See everybody at Frost on Thursday and Friday nights!!!
