Well, what can you say

obviously conference play and the conference tourney are the most important, but the OOC games will determine seeding and matchup come NCAA time

obviously losing a conference pitcher of the year is NOT helping. i have not heard a word about what happened to Grace or how long she will be out. Lasey has been solid but this is definitely not the one two punch in the circle that we were planning on

that said the jacks are 9-5. NOT horrible, but every loss has been to a team that they are definitely capable of beating

thankfully the offense showed the best signs of life today
4 hit day for Roz and 3 for Jocelyn
Culver is showing signs of life

both sisters had multiple extra base hits today
so did Jarecki

for Roz, as far as i can tell without being able to see almost ANY of the games, I think it has just been a matter of time. she is not striking out at all. and the games i saw she hit the ball hard even when she did not get hits, so i think this is kind of the averages are finally starting to come around and hard hit balls are finding holes

anyway, hopefully the hitting continues to come around after today and maybe the offense can help offset the loss of Grace until, HOPEFULLY, she returns

ALSO, i am guessing Tori was really getting squeezed by the ump today. she went 5 innings and gave up (i think) 9 hits and 7 walks. i have NEVER seen her give up that many hits and walks and i have never seen her struggle except when the ump has a tiny tiny strike zone. if we get a normal TK we should have been 2 and 0 today

looks like we can actually watch the 1pm game tomorrow, hopefully without having to buy it. i dont mind paying a bit, but i always worry that the subscriptions dont get cancelled and i will get a bunch of ongoing charges

Finally, it would be nice to get things really clicking in the next few games, because next weekend we play OSU both days. good showing against them should help post season seeding

YES!!! OSU is top 5 probably top 3 team no matter what source you look at

hopefully the recent upward trend in the hitting continues this weekend!!

anyone heard a word about Grace? sure hope she is going to be HEALTHY and back sooner than later

I have no idea?? but she has not pitched since the opening weekend

so i guess should not assume an injury. instead of saying healthy, could / should said hope everything is ok and she is back soon. point being, whatever is going on, i hope she will be well in the first place, and pitching again soon in the second place

there is no commentary. you can hear the PA announcer, but he is not always announcing the jacks so if you want to know the lineup for sure you will have to use the live stats

appears that Lasey is on the mound, which indicates that Grace is still not back. have NO NEED for details but i wish we could get a little info, at least if she is expected back this year or not

Jocelyn crushed the first pitch. thought it was going out. CF made a heck of a catch at the wall but got 1 on the tag. added another one on a hot shot from Jarecki that 3b could not field clean

the good news is it seems the offense might be coming around.
14 hits today and to be honest it could have easily been quite a few more. PLENTY of the 21 outs were hit hard
just one example, cannot remember if it was Roz 2nd or 3rd AB she hit a LINE DRIVE that I do not think was ever more than 10 feet off the ground (if that), but it went literally right to the CF. i dont think CF moved. it would be fun to get exit velocities. i honestly dont think i have ever seen a ball go from the bat to the OF glove in less time

anyway, LOTS of hard hit balls so hopefully that trend continues

i dont know how good Tarleton really is or not but they did have a record of 12 and 7 coming into the day

the girls play Tulsa (7-8) at 5pm

A Williams has been a spark since getting in the lineup. 3 hits today including a 2b and a HR
