He had some doubters in Minnesota because of the small school he went to and lack of competition. I think this past summer most of the experts came around to the conclusion that he is not only an absolute lockdown shooter but can play defense at the D1 level. This is a huge get for the Jacks. He turned down Ivy League so I assume he is a really smart nice kid on top of his obvious talent as a shooter.

Seems to me to be the male version of Jill Young ,recently departed from the womens team.High scorer,a little undersized,comes from a Christian school.Hope he does for the mens team what Jill did for the womens.

Mehh... He has better lift and a better release point then here and has more of a midrange game

I thought Michael Finke committed to Wisconsin? I know he was offered by the Badgers and Hawkeyes in August. Anyone able to confirm? I hope he didn't and that he is still considering the Jackrabbits.

Some of that info is very old - they show Zac Huisken showing moderate interest,and he graduated last spring and is enrolled at Augie.

I've been digging a little deeper and it doesn't look like Finke has committed. He has offers from just about every major program in the upper midwest however. I suspect we are out of the running for him.

Finkle hasn't committed. Verbalcommits is a cool site cause it splits it up, but it puts all offers out and is late on much of the info of who came and who didn't. I like the format, and have followed it for a while but I just wish they fine tuned it a little like the big boys

Clark/Willow Lake guard Skyler Flatten (@sflat10) said he has verballed to SDSU for men's basketball. USD, NDSU, Drake and UTEP offered.


The 6-5, 205-pound Flatten – who put up 25 ppg last season – is the 4th verbal for SDSU, completing the 2013 recruiting class.

I'm going to have to watch him play. I've heard a bunch about him, but have never watched him play.

The big surprise about the 2013 class is how local it is. They are good recruits, so its not a complaint, but after a NCAA appearance I figured we'd see one of the more regionally diverse recruiting class, not one of the more local recruiting classes.

When is the last time the men's team had 4 early signees?
