according to some guy on twitter. I'm not going to say who, and I'm not going to follow him, because I don't need the NCAA on my @$$ right now. But says Kory Brown from Elgin HS in Illinois has received his 2nd scholarship offer from South Dakota St. Could it be USD? sure, but I'm not going to ask.

The other offer is from North Dakota State, and this is according to his Dad's twitter account.(ok so I lied) I don't plan on asking for further details.

He is a SG/SF. I've seen him listed between 6'4"/6'5" weighing in between 190-205 with a wingspan of 6'10" Has had a ton of interest but only the two offers. list EIU and WIU as well as Loyola IL and Drake of schools that have shown interest.

i hope for the sake of good humour that you investigate further
but i would think that we can get either matt donlan, montel, or this guy ! !

Kory Brown has added an offer from Eastern Kentucky

Matt Donlan has an offer from South Dakota St, as well as IUPUI, Duquense, Wright State, Houston Baptist, Stetson, and Oakland

There tweets were delivered on their own, and I did not ask them or have any conversation with either in the process. For the record I have retweeted Matt Donlan, and he has retweeted me a time or two, over tweets involving his visit, however no communication has occured

Yeah, that is just not going to happen. I retweet and follow a ton of different people/things. I generally retweet all information involving the Summit League men's basketball recruiting. I find the information and report it here. I agreed that I may have gone too far, and should stay away from contacting recruits; and said I was sorry. But if you or anyone else is going to throw a hissy fit for all the information I find and post on here, then just ignore me. We had a 7 page side track because no information was coming out. Look back throughtout this thread, look at the offers extended and almost all of them originated from me. Of those, almost all of them were found on twitter. I don't see anyone else reporting it. Its not like SDSU has a beat writer for basketball recruiting only.

I feel that it is best to post this information, because in 3 years, I when people are on here, complaining about why we didn't offer X, or did we offer X, or whatever. It is on here as a record.

Following athletes/recruits on twitter is fine. If they didn't want the information to be public, they wouldn't have put it on twitter.

I see nothing wrong with retweeting what they say either, just don't contact them personally and everything will be hunkey-dory.
