    MinnesotaPreps.com (pay site) is reporting that SDSU has offered a scholarship to Zach Huisten of Southwest Minnesota Christian School in Edgerton, MN.

    Leading the Red Rock Conference in shot blocks by a wide margin (91 in 16 games, 5.7 per game), Zach Huisken was a huge presence inside for the 17-6 Southwest Christian Eagles.

    An All-RRC pick, Huisken averaged 16.4 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. He also totaled 124 shot blocks (5.4 per game), 57 assists and 33 steals. One of Huisken's top performances of the season (27 points, 12 rebounds, nine shot blocks) came against Worthington on Jan. 9.

    Saw the game against Worthington - he was a nice player for a sophomore,posted up well and also hit a 3 pointer or two. To me,he has better D1 potential and future than Trevor Gruis.

      Zach will be playing with the Dakota Schoolers 16's. It would be fun to watch him this summer.

            Why? Because he's Dutch? Sounds cheap to me!

            Norse, Swede, Dutch, Indian, Zimbabwen, Brazilian - doesn't matter as long as they come ready to play, study and enjoy the stress reducing atmosphere of SDSU and Brookings.

              I have alot of dutch friends. I love them dearly, some of the best and most genuine people I know. But good Lord are they CHEAP!!!

                  Kyle Bauman, 6'8" power forward from Wells, MN (United South Central) received an offer from the Jacks at their elite camp last week according to MinnesotaPreps.com (pay site):

                      That would be fun to have both zac showalter and zach huisten. Then we would really have the zach attack for years to come.

                            I didn't write them in but that was my point. 4 zachs in 2 years, Like the Killer Hs iowa had a few years ago.
