To summarize this thread: Kampe acted like an idiot. Is he the first coach ever to do so? Nope. Do we wish he hadn't? Yup. Does it mean he's a horrible person in general? Probably not. Are we glad our coaches aren't jerks? Definitely.

I think it's time for an NCAA rule change. During media timeouts if the coach is at midcourt chewing on the officials and not in his huddle with his team it should be a technical foul. Or any timeout for that matter. Timeout are intended for instructions to players, not time to work an official. The way to stop the F-bombs is the technical foul also. He gets 2, then he waits for the team in the locker room. After all it is only a game.

I don't think AJ would like that rule, but he does it in a good way so to speak! However, When Rotert went down a couple of weeks ago AJ walked the floor stopping at each Ref
chewing their ear off! I did not agree with that either. BTW, it was a bad call!

Side note: We had 400 YMCA basketball players at a SKYFORCE game a couple of weeks ago and 3 minutes into the game, player fouled and Nate Tibbets goes crazy after his player got called for a foul on a break away dunk! Now, it was not a foul that should have been called, but it was on 12-8 at the time.

400 youth basketball players in the stands and coach loses it! All these players even did pre-game with the team. people left with there children when Tibbets left the bench stormed the court and got ejected!

We need coaches to have some control, but everything to them is the "W" and jobs are lost b/c they do not get the W.
