Yup! Chad White with 1 pt according to KELO...

Watertown over Pierre 99-87...this after Brookings beat Pierre 102-90...Pierre either has really bad defense, really good offense, or both!

Sioux Valley did a good job of slowing it down but wow did both teams struggle from the floor. Neither team could hit a shot to save their lives. I'm not sure how many layups Knolly missed but it was at least 4. Chad missed several from the free throw line as well.

first of all this is a recruits thread, not a SD shot clock thread.... Second of all, anybody who has watched AA basketball knows that the shot clock was needed, and anybody who has watched an A game knows that 95% of them are fine without a shot clock....

joeboo's observation about thread drift appears to be well-founded.

#9 AAAA Edina 21-3 played #3 AAAA St Cloud Tech 24-0 last night in St. Cloud and Minnesota Preps reported that SDSU coaches were in the house. Nate Wolters scored 29 points and St. Cloud Tech won 81-72. Does this mean that we are looking at Nate again?

Had to be Austin because Klink and Nagy were at Brayden's game in Sioux Falls last night

Could have been San Diego State coaches.

Minnesota Preps said it was South Dakota State University. Of the unsigned seniors in Minnesota, he is the number one ranked player.

for the people who have made it to sioux falls you can watch the future jacks play tonight in sioux falls. Carlson and the bobcats play at roosevelt and madison plays howard at the elemen center.

Three of SDSU incoming recruits are on the Argus Leader's First Five, including the Co-Players of the year. Way to go Coach Nagy and Staff!

Madison's dynamic duo sparked state title and committed early to SDSU

Individually, they are pretty good - really good, actually. But together, well, they've almost always been together, and that's what makes them special.

Chad White is a 6-foot-7 guard with handle and bounce. Tony Fiegen is a 6-8 forward with strength and range. They hail from the same mid-sized town - Madison - and are not only teammates, but senior classmates.

The top scorers in school history, they recently led the Bulldogs to their first Class A state title since 1945 and will play NCAA Division I basketball at South Dakota State, having verbally committed prior to their sophomore seasons.

They are, it seems, a package deal. It's only fitting, then, that the two have been named Argus Leader Boys Basketball Co-Players of the Year, the first time the award has been split. And they seem fine with that.

                              brookings, 6-5, senior

An SDSU recruit, Carlson shot 53 percent from the field, a remarkable statistic for a guard who shot 76 3-pointers (making 30). He averaged 21.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.4 blocks a game. He scored 34 points against Mitchell and matched that total a week later against Pierre.

Interesting that 4 out of the first 5 are going to South Dakota Schools, with the other going to the distant lands of Iowa. It's good to see these kids stay in the area, and it really says something about this years high school talent when all 5 of these players (not even factoring in the 2nd team) are going to play division one basketball.
