Fiegen and Cassaday are 3/4 position guys, Radar can play more 4. Davis is a back-to-the-basket guy at the J.C. level, hopeful that will transfer to the DI level. White needs to develop better ball handling and passing skills to play the 2 or he'll be a swing guy/3 position as well. Nagy recognized this a while ago and will be changing the offense to fit these players. We need somebody to take the point guard position and guys to focus on possesion value if its going to work in 2008-09.
We are here to add what we can to life, not get what we can from life. -Sir William Osler
We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.
SDSU in Willmar, MN last night to presumably watch Nate Wolters and Taylor Filipek? Undefeated and 4th ranked Tech in AAAA behind Wolters pulls out a one point victory. Willmar was ranked 8th in AAA. Word was that Wolters commited to St. Cloud State but apparently he has not made his final choice after all?

The saga continues, I would like to see Wolters at SDSU as well as Filiipek. We shall see. Willmar is not a real short drive, but something got our staff there. Who knows!!!
In case no one is checking the box scores....Brayden Carlson's last four games: 35, 33, 25 & 20 (although Brookings stat's had him for 23).....hard pressed to find someone else in SD posting those types of numbers.........He's much better than people give him credit for and he'll be a nice addition to the recruiting class....getting him to walk on a year is a steal.

I just happened to hear about Brayden's recent numbers last night as well. Thanks for pointing it out and I think we are very lucky to have this kid come in as a walk-on. Surely more talented than any other walk-on we've had come in the past few years!

Another BIG night for Brayden! He had 34 pts on 12 of 14 shooting, 4 for 4 on 3's and 6 for 6 from the line as Brookings beat Pierre tonight 102-90.

Don't mean to be nitpicky, but it was 34,33,27,20. Plus he added another 34 this evening. There were 26-3 point shots made this evening in the Brookings win over Pierre. Brookings was 10-14 from behind the arc and Pierre was 16-34. It was a good, fast paced, exciting hs game to watch. Brayden now has 146 point in his last 5 games.
Sounds like good shooting and a shot clock had an impact on the high scoring in this game. Pleased to see Brayden continue to dominate. Imagine what he will be like after a red-shirt year of practicing with the team and getting bigger and stronger.
