Correct. Nothing positive can be taken from the Bison game. They missed WIDE OPEN shots the entire first half. This team has a lot of improving to do before there is any chance at making a run for the Summit TOURNAMENT.

Down to -4.5 Money is on ORU. I agree. If Jacks win it will be by less then 5. ORU might win by 10 or more.

SDSU is the underdog at +4.5. Money is on SDSU because the line moved down from +5. If Jacks win, you could make some good money on the moneyline at +175 (bet $100 to win $175).

I thought I would put this here. Yes, it is about Minnesota, but if you remember, the Gophers weren't too great last year and are all of a sudden a ranked team this year! It's amazing what can happen when one waits. I bet they wouldn't be where they are now if they got rid of the coach when things weren't looking good. Instead, the school and the fans waited and now have a great team. The point is, be patient; the team will get there.

That turn around is due to some of the best recruiting in program history. I like your enthusiasm, but if we had some young pieces that showed potential, I would be excited. I'll wait for TJ's recruits to show up before calling for a new coach, that's for sure.

If their turnaround is due to recruiting, SDSU should be in good hands. There were tons of questions about TJ coaching but I don't know if anybody questioned his recruiting. We have a Nate and a couple of OK classes but I this/hope we should see our best classes in the near future.

As a Gopher fan I am on their site quite a bit, and believe me there were a ton of people who said Pitino couldn't coach a year ago, and that he was living off his old man's success. It's amazing how good a coach people over there think he is now after a 6'10 shot blocking transfer became eligible, a grad transfer 3 point shooter came in, and a top 30 recruit joined the program.

I kinda have to be the optimistic one. Most of the people on here would rather slash their wrists than support this team and coaching staff. I didn't realize so many alumni had the name Debbie Downer.

I gotta spread those R points, but yes the Downer family is a large one. Hold on and come and see them crowned Family of the Year on Feb 28th. So this year is not good, and who knows what 2017-18 will be? We can only hope it will be better. Who would have thunk SDSU and ORU fighting to stay out of basement..

Just read tj post game comments on ksfy. Can someone please tell him they didn't lose because a few shots they wished they had back. They lost because they played no defense and once again press conference was about offense. We shot 71% first half and we were losing....offense is not the problem.

Sorry I'm totally a TJ fan and even "defended" the guy on Twitter (defense is literally half of the game) but read the quoted post as many times as it takes to sink in. WE SHOT 71effin ℅ in the first half and we were still Behind! And we hear in the press conference that offense is the issue? Loud and clear WE ARE WASTING MIKE DAUM'S TALENT RIGHT NOW! I DON'T KNOW maybe he should come off the bench. Something (anything) different. Because whatever this is, isn't working.
I'll be stunned, STUNNED! if we win another game if nothing changes. Maybe it's coaching maybe it's the players response to said coaching IDK, but it smells.

I'm in this camp as well. I am willing to give coaching staff the opportunity to get there players/philosophies going but not at least acknowledging our defensive woes is troubling. I was following along to updates the first half on twitter and I then starting watching second half on ESPN3. The first 5 minutes the defense was absolutely the worst 5 minutes of defense I have watched SDSU play EVER (that includes the lean years of the transition). I liked the energy that Howell and Severyn brought in the second half.
