Only down 5 at the half. That's a minor miracle. It helped that Idaho couldn't stop running into our guys and committing fouls. But seriously, Coach Nagy has got to be going nuts over the total lack of effort on the boards and the lousy defense.
You have to think that the travel has some of these young guys' heads spinning. There is no way this Idaho team should ever beat us. Prediction: We'll roll these jokers by 20 in a couple of weeks in Frost.
Rebounding and defense are about effort. I've heard Nagy say that many times in post-game interviews. Our guys definitely don't seem to be playing with much intensity.
The Idaho fouls kept us in the game. Hopefully they keep adding up and a couple of starters will be on the bench with 5:00 to go.
That's the lamest half-time entertainment I've ever seen. I can't believe I just watched 5 kids play basketball musical chairs. Back to Steelers vs Titans.
One hand points to campus...the other to the liquor store.
I think the best word to describe that half of basketball is "LATE."
Late on defense rotations, late on close outs, late on boxouts, late on defensive switches, and late in terms of playing any assembles of decent basketball.
We're very lucky to only be down by 5, especially since the Vandals have had an incalculable number of second chance points.
Seeing lots of different lineups out of the Jacks, so hopefully we find one that works.

Idaho had at least 9 offensive boards. That's inexcusable and I think it says something about traversing the country 1.5 times in a few days. I honestly hate our scheduling sometimes. If you think it isn't brutal, you're going to love the Utah, Iowa, Colorado, North Dakota 7-game road swing between December 18 and January 4. Ugh.

Correct. There are good reasons that the home team has such a distinct advantage in college basketball.
