79-51 Jacks, final. Absolutely crushed it.

SDSU 79, IPFW 51. Final. Jacks are now 13-10, 5-3 in TSL. IPFW is 18-7 and 6-2 in TSL.

Jacks shoot 50%. It was higher, but the bench brought that down. Dykstra 18, Larson 17, White 15. Jacks 50% from deep.

Bison sleepwalk their way to a win 66-60 over IUPUI. NDSU was 0-10 from 3 and 8-15 from the FT line.

The 21 assists were an indication of dismantling the Ft Wayne defense. Interior passing by these guys getting the ball in for the dunk/layup was most entertaining. This ball movement is very tough and had the Mastodons on their heels. Defense was solid as well. Only 23 free throws tonight made for good game.

Pretty sure he has a perfect record- never played in a losing game. Not many Jackrabbits can claim that.

Really impressed with Bittle's rebounding and passing.

No look pass that resulted in a Larson dunk in the first half was great

I wasn't able to make it either, but my dad and brother did, told dad before the game it'd be nice to get 3k there, but that's a pipe dream and hopefully 2k get there.

The refs really believed in the let them play concept. They even threaten Nagy with a Technical. I thought Forbes got away with a lot. Tyler said Forbes transfered into FW from Florida. Does that mean Cody and him were on the same team? Just curious.

I believe Forbes and another...maybe Jacobo, played at Stetson University for a year.

This was the game I've been waiting for this team to play! They brought the intensity from the opening tip and COMPLETELY dismantled a quality basketball team. In fact, IPFW looked quite silly out there at times. It was also great to see some emotion out there from the guys. There were fists pumping, chests bumping, and the crowd got into it pretty good.

Attendance of 2,144 was disappointing but it is Thursday night and a very cold one at that. Those that came to the game got into it and the players fed off the energy. Way to go fans! Of course, I'd love it louder yet and a lot more people yelling but the atmosphere was very good last night.

Now this team has a blueprint for what they can play like and how they have the talent to beat anyone. Nagy will point to areas where they can improve when they watch the tape as he should but the team has to take a ton of confidence not only from last night but the road wins the weekend before.

Finish the job Saturday against IUPUI and get ready for the road trip next week! Things are coming together. Maintain the effort level! Continue to dominate the glass!

                            That was fun last night!

I see the bison had 2877 for IUPUI game.

The one thing that people need to remember on our attendance (especially in a matchup with the Bison attendance) is that Fargo has enough people in town to fill the BSA. We don't have that status and depend heavily on people driving in from a 50+ mile radius. When weather (even especially cold weather) is present, we lose a lot of our out-of-town attendance. Having said that, I continue to be dismayed at the student attendance. The two end zones were pretty full, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why more students aren't at the games. It's a week night, not a big date night, not a near-finals night, no charge at the gate...what are they doing? I know...the world has changed...when I was in school, we didn't have wi-fi, HD television, xboxes, video games, incessant texting back and forth...guess I need to adjust my thinking!
