Jacks might not get a shot at them if the defense doesn't improve and I'm not sure it can.Jacks played hard, played well and got beat by a better team with better players. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Much different than last week.
Couldn't agree more with this game summary. Tough loss, but not unexpected. Tough, because of the earlier home loss, and a tough 2-game road schedule coming up. I think the league is more balanced this year, although winning on the road has always been tough (ask the Bison about their visit to Ft. Wayne). The Bison were, and are the league favorites with a really experience and well balanced team. Nagy said on the post-game interview that the Jacks have experience as well as the Bison. True in some ways, but the Bison have Braun back, and we don't have Wolters back (and we lost Tony while the Bison lost nobody of consequence). We do have a good positive in Cody Larson's addition to the team, and I think he will continue to improve, and hopefully, the rest of the team can keep working hard to improve. Brayden Carlson has really stepped up his game...congrats to him!!!

Can we take a moment to talk about how awful those refs were? It was awful for both sides as far as I could see. Just some really gross incompetence. Had to send the players to the benches to discuss stuff three? four? times. That was a baaaaaaad crew.

That was a really bad crew. Several calls I've never seen before. I believe the two obvious odd calls were mentioned somewhere earlier...the "travel" on Heemstra whilst he was dribbling, and the FT's for the guy who was passing the ball.

Also, kudos to whoever dreamed up the Oblvious Cam. That was a riot!

Then there was the time we were fouled and were in the bonus. Except the officals were going to give us 2 shots? They ended up changing it after one of many long discussions.

I've never seen a crew have to discuss and go to the monitor so many times in order to correct their confusion. It was bizarre.

That was a horrible attempt at a make up call .

Funny Jack fans are complaining about the officiating, thought that was the Bison way.

Having said that the crew was garbage.

We're complaining with the knowledge that the officiating didn't affect the outcome.

The horsesh*t calls didnt make a difference in the outcome of the game yesterday. There was some calls that stumped me, in our favor, too.

One I remember is when Heemstra shoved a guy out of bounds and grabbed a board and kicked out for a 3. It was sometime in the first half. I couldn't believe it wasn't a loose ball foul.

Correct, terrible as the officiating was, the 11-2 Bison run out of half is what doomed us.

Saul Phillips mentioned that they got 8 stops to start the second half, and it was the difference maker.

Heemstra picked up his pivot foot before he put the ball on the floor. 100% a travel. The call was late so it looked bad. The tv announcers explained the refs told Nagy that's what happened.

Why has Nagy gone away from the zone defense ? And Bittle is turning into the guy you just leave open and let him shoot. The Belmont game was a fluke for Bittle.
