Yep. Ben had 2315 points and 640 assists. He was pretty good.

He was, that said I do wonder who has the most points and assists. Not even sure where to go to find a stat like that.

Now hopefully the Yotes can go up to Fargo and have the kind of shooting night they had at Oakland.

Always double check your sources...or single check for that matter.

Both great players. Sometimes I forget how good Woodside was.

Just listened to post game interviews...even more impressed with Casey K after listening...what a well spoken, intelligent young man. Oh yah...and a heckuva ball player. The Yotes have a good one right there.

                  Agreed. He's really good.

Just an observation, but it's extremely obvious that this USD team is way better than last years team. I don't think they are more individually talented, but they are far better. Last years team would have rolled over the minute the Jacks started hitting 3s in the first half. I was impressed that USD rolled with the punches and cut the lead to 5 at one point in the first half. They still have a long way to go on D, but color me impressed with the direction that their program is moving.

FYI or food for thought, the referee tonight that bears a resemblance to ESPN's Tim Kurkjian, refs a lot of Big Ten games.

Omg I was thinking that during the game I wanted to post that tim kurkjin just made a horrible call. Wonder if the ref keeps obscure stats from the live ball era too.

Topping Woodsides will require some good games by Nate. Certain defensive schemes such as that USD employed will prevent that. I thought USD did a good job on Nate. What Nate did get required an EXTRAORDINARY EFFORT. I hope Tom Brokaw and USD dont have a patent on the useage of extraordinary. After all their ads said USD was extraordinary. You might say that about their defense zone matchup. It was extraordinary in stopping Wolters, but others came through.

I agree 100 per cent. This kid really looked very young, in fact he looked like he was still in the puberty phase of life. Give Boots credit, he has found some good recruits that are going to be a force to reckon with in the SL future. Bos, and Flack are not too bad either.

The rafters was an interesting venue for the media. I remember when I first noticed they were up there. One of the popular cheers was when the student fan base would do their "Hi Norm" cheer for legendary WNAX broadcaster Norm Hilson. I also remember when I used to wander up there for halftime burgers from Burger King while shooting photos for the Brookings Register. Ol' Ron Lenz would share a few barbs with you based on how good of a day he was having. Terry Borns from the Register would also throw a few jokes too. I never knew how those guys, especially Norm, could work the games so effectively from the rafters, it was a longggggg ways up there.

I also remember when Fred Oien had words with me when he discovered that I was shooting game photos from the cat walk directly above the hoop. It only happened one time for me.

Was it just me or is the USD offense just painful to watch. What do they call that, the weave? We had that thing figured out pretty well and really shut them down at times.

How in the world did they beat us down there? Not smack talk but we didn't play great by any stretch last night. More of a tip of the cap to them for getting it done on their home court.
