Do you think that the BracketBuster selection committee will pair South Dakota State and St. Marys together? Its makes sense since SDSU will already be in Californa that week playing Cal State Bakersfield. A Wolters and Delledova matchup would be great!

There is the possibility that a good idea has become more political. If there was complete equity or at least the appearance of equity, Bracketbuster would still have some life. Some teams may not want to risk a loss against an "inferior" opponent or conference. The desire for some is still give me a chance against a good nonconference foe so I might juice up my attraction as a quality program. Without the crystal ball to begin the season, everyone was on the schedule for the game regardless of the season's success. There still may be a spot for this type of event, but it may be better next time or it may be a version of conference matchups similar to the Big 6(e.g. Big 10vACC showdown). Conference commissioners need to get that void filled.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. This event is run by ESPN, not NCAA. ESPN is about making money, not saving money for the schools. NCAA has to reimburse schools for FCS playoffs, that is why the paired SDSU and NDSU together.Originally posted by Roy View Post(\__/)

I hate to be brutally honest but SDSU vs Niagra is a long way from national TV worthy. Who would watch that outside of. SD? That matchup would be a shame.Comment

It'd be a huge slap in the face to State.
