Does the home team reserve a certain number of seats for the visiting team. If we play St. Mary I would go, but may be tough to get a ticket unless I can get one through Jackrabbit athletic department.

That forecasts NDSU coming to Frost and beating us Saturday. If the other happens though, we most likely jump NDSU for 2nd. Wich St/Creighton won't happen, so the 1 seeds for both home/away will not be playing each other.

That could bring us to Wichita for BB, since Belmont is out of the question. Indiana State wouldn't be bad either, though. Both of those are a nice return home game next year.

Saturday is a huge game for us. Revenge for losing at NDSU and a possible game at an MVC school for Bracketbusters.

Either way, we should be on tv for the second straight year, which is nice.

That site gives us a 37% chance to win on Saturday. So a huge game to show people we are for real again this year. For what it's worth, it says we should win the rest of our games this year besides this Saturday.

But that would be great to face Wichita State or Indiana State even. WSU is really tough at home as they just beat Creighton. Because more than likely, at least sometime down the road, we will probably be in the Missouri Valley for all sports. Could speed up if Creighton leaves.

It does indeed look like whoever wins on Saturday will get Wichita State and whoever loses will still get a TV game vs a solid program. At least the last year of bracketbusters will be a good one for both of our schools.

I wouldn't take that for granted.

From what I have read, the MVC is more likely to add Denver and/or ORU, MAC, or even one of the OVC schools before any Dakota schools are added.

I don't want to re-hash this argument, but I guess I just did.

I would think that if the MV wanted to add teams that they would add from their football schools that aren't fully fledged members. But that's just speculation. Didn't mean to bring that up again and get off topic.

It'd be interesting to face a Mo Valley team. And yes, they would have to come back next year.

Keep in mind that Creighton (best and most consistent basketball program last 10 years) is leaving the MVC. NDSU and SDSU would be great fits for hoops IMO.

I think there's no basis in discoverable fact for your statement that Creighton is leaving the MVC.

While many wish to speculate on if- then- and so on of conference alignments, I see the Summit League doing a very respectable job of elevating the conference in membership quality. It may be a situation where the traditional transition spot has a good core and increased competitive level for the long term. The basketball tourney might be considered the showcase event for the conference and it has been more than moderately successful. Douple and the powers to be should be recognized for the progress here.

If you think Creighton is staying, then I would say you are the confused soul. No, it is not a fact.....yet. But as a gambling man, I would bet hard on them leaving. If somebody asked you to lean one way or the other, which way would you lean? What does your gut say?

You stated Creighton is leaving. We've all heard the speculation and perhaps many have formed opinions but until you posted your statement, no one has stated as a fact Creighton is leaving the MVC. Now you've clarified it. It's fine to speculate (heck, speculation drives much of the discussion on message boards!) but when you make a statement of fact as you did, people are going to question you.

I haven't expressed my opinion on whether Creighton will stay or move.
