Gonna have to be more specific, zoo. Your link brought me halfway through the video when Nagy was talking about the rotation. I watched the full thing last night, but I don't remember anything sticking out.

"I thought our bench gave us good minutes. In terms of the minutes they gave us, the rebounds, I think we had seven rebounds from those guys. It's the most important thing for those guys to come off the bench that they be--that they defend and rebound for us."

That is exactly all the Jacks bench needs to do. Rebound, bang down low, and defend. There are already enough scorers on the court.

How about one that doesn't have to do with our guys? My pet peeve is when guys from other teams think they need to show up Nate. There seems to be one on every team that I've seen live this year. Bader was a big example, he seemed to want to prove he was better. Which is understandable but he also did it with a bigtime arrogance, maybe that's just how he is.

The other one was Saturday, when Washington (1-5 with 2pts btw) started clapping in Nates face when they pulled within 14 in the second half. My favorite part of that game was dykstra's pick on him at halfcourt after that.

I guess my point is that if you're going to have those antics, feel free to not get beat by 30. And I wish Nate could give it right back to him, but obviously that wouldn't look good in front of scouts.

Bader has always came across as arrogant to me. It comes with being a pro prospect and regarded as the best player in the league. Nate handles well though.

Hamilton the guy from ORU who plays in the D leauge, cant think of his name. last year they rubbed me the wrong way too. The good news is their are plenty of guys in the league who are top players and can handle that with poise and resepect for their oppenents. Wolters, Bruan, CC3 just to name a few.

Reggie Hamilton played for Oakland if I remember correctly. I think Dominique Morrison from ORU is who you may be thinking of. Played when he wanted to and was a major-league whiner.

Just an FYI, all athletes that are good at what they do walk that fine line between confidence and arrogance. The only real difference between arrogance and confidence is how much one shows to the outside world.

Nate may appear humble on the outside, but if you think he doesn't believe he's the best player on the court when he's out there, you are mistaken.

                        This, this, this.

Bader (as well as most athletes) are super competitive people.

Also, we are all looking at these "arrogant" athletes, or whatever they are getting labeled, as opposing fans once, twice or maybe three times a year. We'd love these guys if they were on our team.

So being super competitive is ok to be arrogant. Ok then. Marshall Henderson from Ole Miss gets a lot of hate for being arrogant and I have heard from people that they wouldn't want him on their team. I actually like him but hey he's super competitive so you are encouraged to be arrogant is what I got.

So Dirk, Kevin Durant, and players like Tim Duncan aren't super competitive since they aren't arrogant. Ok then

Thats all I got from you saying that arrogant players are just super competitive. There is a difference from being confident that you are the best player and being arrogant, I don't really see how there isn't. You don't think KD, Dirk, and Rose think they are the best players on the court? People can believe they are the best player on the court without being arrogant and yes there is a difference.

However with that said, there are players that you love to hate if they aren't on your team and love if they are on your team.
                              Ex. 1: Jason Sutherland.

Read my post. Did I say ANYWHERE that arrogant players are just super competitive and that's okay? No. The only time I used the word arrogant, I put quotes around it. I referred to players that are labeled as arrogant, which is different than actually being arrogant. We, as fans, have very little idea about what kind of person someone is just from watching them play basketball two or three times. You claim that Dirk, DRose, KD and Duncan aren't arrogant? How do you know? You've watched them play basketball and they don't come off as arrogant? You assert your opinions as facts when they aren't actually facts. Facts can be proven. Your post is so full of logical fallacies it is ridiculous.

"So being super competitive is ok to be arrogant." That's something you actually typed and posted. Read that.

And despite ALL of that, you're still wrong. If someone plays basketball in an arrogant way (whatever in the **** that means), is that a bad thing? Is there a difference between high levels of confidence and arrogance? Then where do you draw the line? How do you figure out which player is on which side of the arbitrary line that you are creating? What if it's different for you and someone else? And again, you are going to figure this all out from watching them play basketball?

Once we move past all of that, you are watching Bader and goon is watching Reggie Hamilton (who played at Oakland) through the eyes of a Jackrabbit fan. Would you think differently of those players and their playing styles if they played for SDSU? Are you capable of looking at those players objectively?

If you were one of my English students, I would ask you all of these questions and we'd probably have to have quite the discussion about reshaping your paper, thesis and assertions of opinions as facts.
