Nate picked up a vote in an ESPN POY straw poll. Creighton's McDermott had most votes.

Apparently we are considered far west. Wonder who voted.

Voice of the Fan Wooden Award voting now open.

I have no idea whether fan voting plays any role in determining the winner, or if it's strictly a promotional sweepstakes, but I voted for Nate Wolters

We fans better get out the vote.

I don't think we fans get to vote Goon - that would just make it a popularity contest rather than a talent contest

I do think fans get to vote for a month. which counts as 1 vote for who ever has the most after a month.

                        This is how it is.

Currently, the Michigan and Ohio State fan bases are slamming in votes for their respective two guys.

Apologies Goon - apparently it IS a popularity contest (which just plain sucks) - vote for Nate here:http://www.cousyaward.com/vote.php

If the guy who had these last year would print up two or three thousand more for Senior night at the WIU game,he might go up to the next tax bracket.

It isn't exactly a popularity contest, as the winner of the "popular vote" counts for one vote when the committee makes the final determination. Anyway, it will be tough, but it would be good if all our Jackrabbits got the message and try to get Nate at least some good support. You can vote once each day for the next 30 days. Let's do it.

Wolters dropping 53 tonight on IPFW won't hurt. Not one little bit.
