The St Cloud Times did another article about the local boy.
    http://www.sctimes.com/article/20121...could-lead-NBA

"Wolters has always dreamed about playing in the NBA. He’s a Timberwolves fan, but he’d play anywhere."

“Everyone dreams about the NBA to a certain extent,” he said. “It’d be pretty cool if it happened. I would make the most of it. I don’t worry about that as much as other people do, though. I take it one day at a time.”

Don't know how long the link will stay live, the Times has a habit of disabling links after a few days.

Also, from all accounts he more than held his own at the KD skills academy and esp. at the Adidas Nations scrimmages. I mean during last years Summit League tournament if looked plenty athletic when he went for a sick baseline one-handed jam. He dropped 30 against Alabama at their place where they are known as an athletic, defensive team.
I've explained this before, but he is athletic enough, he is not a Griffin Callahan (and I mean no offense), who isn't quick, has no vertical and gets by on grit a lone. However at the same time Nate is not a Dale Moss who gets by, on athleticism alone. Nate is a very smart player, who is really good at basketball, who is still athletic, but his basketball ability and IQ allows him to look at times like he is Dale Moss though he is not. His size helps too, at 6'4" you don't have to be quite as athletic as you would if you were 5'9".

Ahh man as a jazz fan. That would be awesome. It would only be more fitting if he went and played with the minnesota timberwhites....I means wolves. If mason plumlee keeps up playing great I see him top 15 pick but that's cool seeing wolters listed in that group.

I'm glad Matt included the video of Chad hitting that game-winner. I emailed the link to Chad's high school coach and posted it on his dad's Facebook page.

Hofstra Coach said this after the tourney this weekend.

Cassara was also piling on the praise on South Dakota State's Nate Wolters. "I would pay to watch him play,'' said Cassara. "He's a pro. He's a first-round pick.''

BTW Hofstra beat Marshall in Double OT this weekend also.
