Re: Naters Gonna Nate
Congrats to nate. Great accomplishment to get the record. Lot of games to go so will be fun to see where he ends up.
And thank you nate for coming to sdsu. With out you sdsu would be in a world of hurt.

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
He is in the story ahead of the list on the CollegeInsider site. He is the current POTW.
Dec. 24, 2012
BOSTON (MA) -- South Dakota State's Nate Wolters earns the Lute Olson award national player of the week honors.
The 6-foot-4 senior helped South Dakota State to its first victory over a Division I nationally-ranked opponent in history. He scored a game-high 28 points, dished out a game-high seven assists and added five rebounds in a 70-65 road victory over previously undefeated and No. 16 ranked New Mexico. It's the second time Wolters has earned the national player of the week honor this season.Originally posted by Nidaros View PostNot in DEC 17 week, someone else won. This looks like old news, since Nate waon POTW in Week 1. Nothing since.

He's the only candidate to win player of the week 2 times. He also won back in November.

Re: Naters Gonna Nate
From TV's blog after the CSUB game, "Wolters pushed his career points total to 1,812. He needs three more to tie Austin Hansen for third on the SDSU career list and 10 to tie Lee Colburn for second. Mark Tetzlaff is tops at 1,931." According to my math skills, Nate needs 119 to tie and 120 to break the all time record. At his current average of 20 points per game he is on pace to break it in 6 more games. Next 6 games are on the road with the 7th being here at home. Would love to see him break it at home, but would also love to see him tear it up the next 6 games and have it taken care of before the road trip ends.
