It could also have been a case of Nagy thinking he knows what he's got in Prince, so didn't feel the need to put him on the court for as many minutes as some of the other guys to see how they perform in game conditions.

I would normally agree with this comment but Nagy actually coached this exhibition game like it was a real game. He still didn't run many plays but he didn't play the whole bench. He only played the starters, Prince, HORSTMAN, Marcus, Dykstra and Alex Olson for 1 minute. Everybody that played other than Prince, Horstman and Olson were on the team last year. I know that they all improved over the summer but Nagy should know more about what he has in them over a new guy.
Prince and Horstman each played about 12 minutes so it probably has a lot to do with the fact that they are true freshmen. Marcus played 14 minutes but he would be the least experience out of the rest of the players. It was against a DII team so it will be interesting to see how their minutes turn out Saturday when they play a DI team. Will they get more minutes because they have actually played a college game or less minutes because the competition will be tougher?
