I don't think anyone was expecting that pass to happen. Very nice pass!!! I think there are a lot of positives to be taken from this game. Did like the fact players were willing to break to the basket with Iowa focusing on the 3 point shot. We did shoot a high percentage from 3 land but we will be in trouble those games they aren't falling. Do have to keep players out of foul trouble too.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

Rumor is, people were literally throwing up in the stands.

      It was that sick.

Actually, it had nothing to do with that pass. It was actually all the Hawkeye basketball season ticket holders realizing what they actually paid to watch all season long! /end smack

IMO last year was Nate just getting used to the college game and getting comfortable with the situation. I think that he made an effort to play conservative and feel his way thru the season. Now that he has that year under his belt I look for some pretty remarkable plays as he opens up his own playbook a bit.

It reminded me of the professor on the old And 1 tour.

We all knew that he and Marcus would bring something special to the court, but I think that they are also bringing a little attitude back to the team. In the past the team may have stepped onto the court already expecting a loss. Not so much this year.

Can someone come up with a caption for this photo. The expression on the Iowa player is priceless.

When someone dunks on you, you should make sure your not anywhere near the rim or you may be on someone's poster. This is the first dunk by Clint in his career at SDSU, and this would make a good poster.

The best is Sargents dunk, both his, and the Iowa defender were both like, "no way he just did that."

The Hawkeye nation Stood in disbelief as they witnessed the rarest of the rare...
When asked at the press conference how to explain what he saw the Hawkeye player stated:

"Man I've seen unicorns, leprechauns, hydras, Sasquatch and the like... but never before have I seen anything like that.."

When prodded by those media types as to what he thought it might have been..

He responded with this: "now I know some of you are not going to believe me when I say this, but since I saw it with my own eyes I know what that was... It was the mythical White man who can jump..."
The crowd all gasped... then he erupted "I KNOW I was like WOOOH"

There is now a conspiracy theory running in certain circles that this was in fact only superman...
Others even claim to have seen it or have photographic proof that this was in fact the real deal.

As for #10 of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits when asked of his involvement with the event, he stated simply: "I cannot deny or confirm what many are speculating on Fan boards around the country as to my abilities, Rather you'll have to judge for yourself it is true"...

                                :-D
