    Re: Biggest Game Ever!!!

Good luck on Saturday. No question this is the biggest game to date.

To be followed by even more important games in the following weeks. Hope you make a deep run in the post-season.

High school playoffs will certainly take away a few wood be Jacks fans but if you are a true Jacks fan you can make both. 1 PM Jacks game and than a short drive from Brookings to many of the games played in the Sioux Falls / Brookings area.

I've heard that both A.D. Justin Sell and Coach Stig are going to make their rounds through the dorms encouraging students to come to the game. I like that approach.

Have not heard of any deals ie, 2 for 1 etc.

It will be a fun day...........Don't miss it.

Last I heard, Washington vs Brandon Valley is at 2:00 pm; that is likely to be the only game that could affect attendance.

KU, Dr, Phil== Now Mr. KU. Let's talk about how you feel about this girl. How long have you two been going out together. Where do you see yourself with her in say,, one. two, five, ten, years. Is she the "one" that you see yourself with till death do you part. Just how important is this (insert sarcastic Dr Phil voice here) game to you. Will destroying her heart by going to the game worth it or are you man enough to just suck it up and show your love to her by going to the wedding.

Sorry dude, see you at the wedding. We'll post our thoughts to you while watching the game. Or better yet see if there is WiFi in the immediate area, get a laptop with it and watch it along with the rest of us unlucky dogs. 957 miles, sick kids, and the wife said no go for me.

Not a general 2:1 deal, but if anyone is in the military there is a 2:0 deal

To honor those currently serving and those who served our country in the past, South Dakota State University would like to offer two free tickets to all military personnel for the Jackrabbit football game against Southern Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 7.

You can call yourself whatever you want but if you consider yourself a great Jackrabbit fan and you aren't at this game then:

#1 You better have one hell of an excuse and still be freely willing to admit its lame.

                or

#2 You need to admit you like to consider yourself something you really aren't.

Every decision carries with it a consequence. I'll be at CAS Saturday morning and my offer regarding tickets is still open. It doesn't do any good worrying about attendance. Get your butt there and bring a friend, who brings a friend, who brings a friend.......Stig and the guys will take care of the rest.

I am going to the SDSU game in the afternoon and will be in Howard at 6 for a high school playoff game.

Veterans and those serving in the military can get two free tickets. See gojacks.com for details on that offer.

Good idea by Sell and Stig to work the students. Great idea. I love the new approach.

TELL PEOPLE WE NEED TO PACK THE JOINT! I am hassling everybody I know who even kind of likes football.

I think we need to pack our freakin' cowbells after what I heard in Youngstown.
Grumbling along and embracing my role. If I didn't care, I wouldn't care. Go Jacks!

O'Gorman at Aberdeen Central starts at 6. That could impact a few people, though you could probably play Beat The Clock if the Jacks win in regulation as opposed to overtime.

It is also Senior day. This group of Seniors have accomplished a lot while being a part of the football program. They deserve all the support they can get.

High School games should not affect our game. Our game should affect the High School games.

I will be going to the game and then to a hockey game in Sioux Falls after that. Even if the hockey was the same time I would go to the Jacks game. JACKS are a first priority all others are second.

I think that a crowd of 12-13 thousand would be a successful turnout for the Jacks. There is still a large contingent of fans that only really want to go to one or two games a year. And they are perfectly happy with hitting the NDSU and Hobo Day game.

I would disagree and say you can be a great Jackrabbit fan even if you have legitimate priorities in life that keep you from this game. If that's not the case, than I'm proud not to be a great fan. SDSU sports is not in my top 4.

I know I'm not directly being called out, but I don't feel it's right to guilt people into making bad decisions. A true fan does not need to be "talked" into this game.

I'm kinda torn on it because 1) My broadcast is in Howard and it starts at 6:00 p.m. and 2) If I go to CAS, I'm gonna yell my damn fool head off and I won't have a voice to yell my damn fool head off again that night.

Perhaps if I invested in a muzzle for myself.... or at least smuggled in my cowbell!
                                I am Ed. Fear me.
