I hope Busekist is still under consideration for the LB position. Boise State year in and year out has been one of the top G5 teams with strong defenses.

Looks like he is now following all of our LBs on twitter, so I would say the chances are good.

That other coach had followed Eben and this one is following Goehring. Do prospective coaches meet players while interviewing? I can maybe understand this but would you expect them to meet recruits or potential portal players? Interesting he was following DTs before and is now following LBs.

Logan McCormick (twitter) new SIU DLine Coach.according to his bio. Don't see it announced anywhere. Former NDSU player. Was at NU last year as a defense GA. Jackson just followed, Eids had an old follow on him. Logan no recent relevant follows

Dog eat dog world. Just based on that previous bio, I think SDSU plucked him from SIU granted that position wasn't announced publicly. A little interesting in both situations he's jumped the gun with the bio with no official announcement

interview July 18, 2024 with Dom Izzo - about 20 minutes. Defensive GA at James Madison. Braun got NU job and McCormick was on his list as a defensive GA. talked a few sentences about having to work with Lujan and Smith. Talked about having to deal with the Pat Fitzgerald news. 11:23 is talking about the GA role and what he does/did 12:35 when he knew he wanted to coach. He has 8 championships between HS & College.

Why do I feel like Dan has given more one-on-one interviews in one week than Jimmy did in 2 years? His energy and positive attitude is infectious.

Why do I feel like Dan has given more one-on-one interviews in one week than Jimmy did in 2 years? His energy and positive attitude is infectious.

With only half a staff in place, the demands on his time have to be through the roof. You get the feeling he doesn't need much sleep to function. All of his interviews have been great, but the Splitting Hares one gave me the feeling that he really can take the program to even better things.

Not sure it would be kosher for someone not on staff to talk with potential recruits. Current players should be fine though.
