I'm certainly disappointed, even angry at some folks' actions, but shouldn't the team leaders be the ones who decide the players that'd be invited back?
If it's the university making the determination, I'm not sure that exclusionary message is what we want to send to recruits either.

But if it's University programming what obligation does the university have to former students, especially those who leave for other university athletic programs? I think the message it sends to recruits is that you're free to quit on SDSU and SDSU is free to quit on you. If Tucker Large wants to be in a hall of fame or recognized at his Aalma mater, he's chosen WSU as his alma mater.
I have no idea what they were being told to get them there, but Large made plays and played through some injuries for the Jacks. Will I be focusing on him or any of the other former players who transferred to WSU? Not really, and I definitely won't focus on them nearly as much as the ones who stayed or are transferring in.

Justin was one I thought the Jacks would consider before he finally committed to Augie. This is all great, but now we are doing the same thing and offering kids who had made a commitment to a program at a lower level so are we any better?
