as far as the rumor?? ....
    For clarification:
My post commenting about LetsGo's use of upper-case letters was an attempt at humor (which may have missed the mark). Posters are free to make full use of all of the capabilities of their keyboards including, for example upper-case letters and, in my case, frequent misspellings which I blame on typing too fast and my keyboard making mistakes.
On my comment on rumors: Another example of me trying to inject a little humor (When does a statement become a rumor? On its first issuance or only after it is repeated?) I'm pretty sure the attribution rule in the Board Guidelines developed by filbert applies only to talk about athletes leaving their sport or SDSU. In such cases, attribution to a source is required. I think posters are free to speculate without providing a source on injured athletes and when they may be returning to the field. I have no criticism of LetsGo's stating his best guess on the nature of an athlete's injury (I thought the guess made sense.).

It really doesn't matter as the #1 and #2 host throughout the playoffs so just win and take one of those seeds. Although, being the higher seed means you sit on the side of the field in Frisco that has covering in case of a deluge...

The only difference it might make is who you have to play in the semi's, and you don't know how that shakes out until the teams are seeded. I would like whatever seed puts us on the opposite side of the bracket from NDSU.

I agree. If NDSU is the 4 seed, I hope we are the 2.

Idk, that’s an interesting dilemma. Would we rather play NDSU in the semis in DJD stadium or in Frisco where they are likely to have a crowd advantage?

Bring on the Bison. I want a win vs them on the way to Frisco. I'm tired of the "we can't beat NDSU in the playoffs" crap. This would be a great year to put that one to bed. We are getting healthy and gelling. Nobody in their right mind wants any part of the Jacks at home. Keep winning, play at the Dana, and see what happens in the playoffs. Go Jacks!

I agree, would rather make them play us here in our house. Tired of them getting us at home . However, this is cart before the horse stuff because we still need to win two more games.

I would hope our home playoff attendance would be better this year, but year's past has not been good. If it isn't a lot better we could end up with a large Bison contingent at DJD also. We need to take care of business for the next two weeks and worry about playoff scenarios later.

I have always wondered the same thing. If we played NDSU at home in the playoffs would it be a 50/50 split? It honestly wouldn't shock me. I still believe that if there are two teams that have very similar resumes (say Weber and NDSU for the 3 or 4 seed) the committee would lean towards keeping NDSU and SDSU on opposite sides.

Well that's the great thing about being a fan on a message board. None of the coaches have given me a play to run or even asked for my input on the game plan. So that leaves me free to "worry about" whatever I want. Heck, if I want to ponder about our chances of beating Alabama I am free to do so because my mental energy being spent on that will have exactly zero effect on the outcome of the SDSU versus UNI game. I have the luxury of showing up to the stadium 30 minutes before game time after having a couple of cocktails and the coaches/players will not be affected at all. Now, the people sitting next to me may be less excited about that...

The one thing I do know about this team and coaches is that they have spent zero mental energy on the scenario I brought up because unlike me they need to have the one game at a time approach. And since I feel comfortable they are doing so I can spend my time postulating unlikely playoff scenarios. And if I want to post them on a message board and other people want to add their thoughts then we can do so knowing that our team is taking care of it's business despite our lack of focus on the "next game up."
