my wife has a cousin who is an NDSU fan and he gave us some recommendations and he said you cannot got to Frisco and not eat at Hard 8. His only warning was don’t overdue it because it is easy to do with how good it is.

My wife and I secured tickets and lodging, so we will be driving up Saturday afternoon.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, Pappasito's Cantina has several locations in and around the Dallas area. I usually go to the one in Humble (just north of Houston). Amazing Tex-Mex!

Correct on both being really good...and the spelling. For the most part you can't go wrong on either Mexican food or BBQ in Texas. It's cutthroat. If you aren't good, you simply go out of business.

Does anyone happen to be going down with a heavy pickup that could pull back a 8' x 26' pig trailer? Will make it right with whomever?

                    From the OKC area

Might be a long shot, but does anybody have any extra blocks of rooms available that haven’t been claimed? We have a backup about 10 minutes south. Ideally looking for two rooms or some type of suite with separate sleeping areas.

My wife the travel genius has pointed out that now is the time to book Frisco rooms for Jan. 8, 2022. Usually they're cancelable 24 hrs prior to the reservation. Might as well start doing it now, folks, you know that Bison and Dukes and other upper-tier FCS fan bases are doing it!

LOL. I recall a lesson from college road trips: A 12-pack of Grain Belt Premium, being transported from the Brookings area to the Dallas area, will develop mysterious leaks so that by the time the delivery person reaches drives by Nebraska City, they're just transporting empty cans suitable for recycling..

My dad and I are flying down on Sunday morning and back on Sunday night out of MSP. Short trip but with my current house remodeling project its the best I can do.
