    I feel terrible about it but i have to pony up to one who has switched gears to basketball.  I will be at the UNC game but i am so much more excited about the Illinois game and Husker women's game this weekend.  I wish it wasn't this way but i think it is the culture we have created at SDSU towards basketball.  

    I expect 1821 at the football game. And i do expect a royal ass whoopin of the bears to say see you later in the sky.

        They are probably talking about landing in Omaha and taking a bus to Brookings. It's always the cheapest to fly in and out of Omaha. UNC is probably trying to save a little money.

            The inference in the story was that SDSU was WAY out of the way and the Bears were stuck with a bus ride. They chose a bus ride. I suppose it makes sense to save a few bucks on each ticket if you're flying an entire football team.

              I see our defense having something to prove after giving up 300 yards on the ground to the Bison last week. I'll pick the Jacks to win 34-0 unless the Bears get lucky and score on a turnover.

              I would think we get 1500 fans at the game or maybe close to 2000 with a good student turnout this being the last game of the year. Not the greatest weather for the game today, but on the bright side, this was usually the type of day we had for every home game my first two years in the early 80's.

                17-7 Jacks with about 5:00 to go in the first half. Northern Colorado has only 39 total yards.

                UNC touchdown came early in the game after a Berry Int deep in Jack territory.

                UNC driving right now - in Jack territory at the 41.

                  Just in case you haven't heard:  Jack women kicked the crap out of Nebraska women in basketball.  68-49.  Led (heck, you could say dominated) the whole way, ending Nebraska's 24-year home-opener winning streak.

                  Go Jacks, finish off the Big-Sky Bears.

                    17-14 Jacks.

                    Norhtern Colorado holds SDSU, forces a punt, and blocks it.

                    UNC with the ball at the 2 with under a minute to go(not sure the exact time).

                    QB sacked at the 8 yard line. 4th and goal for the Bears at the 8 yard line.

                    Mistakes have killed the Jacks.
