Route runner/Pass catcher - a QB's best friend on every passing down (nothing like a guaranteed first down every time you throw to a tight end). Hopefully one of these guys has a little, dare I make the comparison, Steve Heiden in them and is truly a great tight end and not just an avenue to fill another need on the team.

And yes, I'm biased toward tight ends for reasons many know all too well.
Hey, at least you threw linebackers a bone.

Knudsen has committed to Yale, so you can cross him off the list of potential recruits.

Nate DeJong... from Central/Lyons High School.... I heard we offered don't know if he accepted or not he's listed as a Safety on scout but from what I have heard he is more of an athlete and hasn't locked in a position yet.....

A large contingent of recruits at the Basketball game last night. Hope to hear some of those preps who committed.

While several Nebraska Preps may decide to walk on with the Huskers there are a few who are on the Jacks radar and the interest is mutual.

Jeremy Wallace 6'1 225 running back Omaha Bryan. Would play linebacker in college
Andy Mink 6'3 220 linebacker Ashland-Greenwood. Would play DE in college. He indicated Jacks have other recruits rated ahead of him, but depending on who committs he could get an offer.

I don't think we offered DeJong. Where did you hear that?

Two more verbals for SDSU as reported in the scoreboard section of the Argus today. Here they are:

Two players who helped Lee’s Summit West
go 14-0 and win the Missouri Class 4A state
                    title have made verbal commitments:

Matt Holt, 6-1, 205, will play strong safe-
ty in college after rushing for more than 1,500
yards and earning first-team all-state honors
as a running back this season. He said that he
also had scholarship offers from Penn and
                    Southern Illinois.

                    Aaron Rollin, 6-2, 200, WR, made 26
catches for 448 yards this season and was
first-team all-conference. He said that he also
had a scholarship offer from Alcorn State.
That puts the list at nine as follows:

So here is the verbal list as we know it.

Tyrel Kool - RB - Yankton, SD
                    Thomas O'Brien - QB - Winona, MN
John Fick - OL - Hull/Rock Valley, IA
Josiah Fitsimmons - DE - Ames, IA
Seth Daughters - TE - Winner, SD
                    Tyler Luethje - OL - Gladbrook-Reinbeck, IA
Keegan Nesvacil - TE - Middleton, WI
Aaron Rolin - WR - Lee's Summit, MO
Matt Holt - SS - Lee's Summit, MO

I'll try to keep this list up to date as we receive more verbals. More information on each recruit can be found by reading this entire thread.

I heard he wants to come to SDSU badly but wasn't given a scholarship. Also, he has a full ride at UNI. Can anyone confirm this?

Add one more to the list. As reported in the sports breifs section of the Argus today:

Julian Wagner, a 5-foot-9, 180-pound cornerback from Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas, has made a verbal commitment to play at South Dakota State. An all-district pick as a wide receiver, Wagner was also considering going to Rice as a walk-on.
That puts the list at ten as follows:

                              Tyler Luethje - OL - Gladbrook-Reinbeck, IA
Keegan Nesvacil - TE - Middleton, WI
Aaron Rolin - WR - Lee's Summit, MO
