One change is different the band no longer sits on the home side. they are in stands under the scoreboard now. how many fans expect to make the trip out for the game?

WIU fan board discussion about the SDSU/WIU game. I like the St Lawson metrics (Post #1) information.
Great representation over there RR, but it's Rollin, no "s." (And the rest of you beware if you go over there, the usual suspect is on the board predicting a WIU victory...)

See that you have a certain NDSU fan over there predicting your guys will come away with a "W." He once was on this board. Others here might recall him predicting an SDSU win in any competition, but I don't recall that ever happening.

And sorry about LakesBison... he's an annoying little troll.

Yup, I'm fully aware of LakesBison and his "antics". He hasn't done anything "ban-able" on our board yet, but that doesn't mean I don't keep an eye on him.

I think his goal is to get banned from every fan board in the Summit League.

I like the plans for the new scoreboard. Hope you go with a good company to put the board in *cough* Daktronics *cough*.

I looked at the highligths youtube and No 38 Nikko Watson seems to be tough to stop, at least for the yotes. Guess what he is also a sophomore as is z squared.

I believe that's the plan, although I don't think anything is "official" yet. It was supposed to be in place for this season but there were some issues with the funding and it had to be delayed a bit. We're hoping next year since there's been some problems with it not keeping the time correctly this season and because our current sound system is horrible (the new scoreboard will have a speaker system built in).

Yup, the guy's a beast. He's the type of RB that will plow through the line for an easy 6-8 yards, or if he breaks free, it'll usually take at least 2 guys to take him down. He's like a larger, more powerful version of Herb Donaldson. In another year or two he could easily be up near at the top of the FCS rushing charts like your guy. If we had much of a passing game, I think he'd actually be getting quite a few more yards. As is, we pretty much have to rely on him, and often the opposing team's defenses plan for stopping him. It's kinda like Indiana State this season...you stop Bell, you pretty much stop the offense.

Well, this appears like this is going to be another ugly game. Zenner and Watson both go over 100. Jacks win 17 to 13.

Sitting at Orthropedic Institute in waiting room watching Fick workout for trainers testing knee. Looks promising by my eyes. Working on drop steps and side to side. That would be a lift to the team.

Looks like its going to be a nice day for tailgating and the game. Just checked weather.com and the prediction for Saturday is: a shower or two early in the morning and then partly cloudy by 9:00 a.m. ...a high of 66...south winds shifting to the west at 10-15 mph. Chance of rain diminishes to 10% by evening. Temp at game time should be close to 60 and by 9:00 p.m., middle 50s.

I hope we can fill the stadium!

                                Go Jacks!
