Omaha is 7-7 with a game at Denver and at home against NDSU left. Could easily finish 7-9. ORU now has 10 losses. So SDSU has a realistic chance of catching Omaha in 5th place. On the other end of the spectrum, even if ORU were to pull out two unexpected wins against USD and NDSU, the best they can do is tie SDSU if SDSU doesn't win either of its two remaining games.

If that happens, ORU would have the tiebreaker over SDSU if they finished in a 2 way tie. ORU plays at USD at 3:15pm Saturday. I expect the Jacks to end up with the 6-7 seed. Maybe the 5, but 6-7 more likely, IMO

Omaha plays Denver and NDSU to finish. They could easily be 7-9. SDSU wins one of the last 2 games and they are 7-9. That would be the 6 seed to be determined by the formula. If SDSU gets by Ft Wayne on the road and wins at home against Denver, then the 8-8 record moves to the 5 or 4 seed. If the SDSU loses both of last games, then the 6-8 seed is the result.

Midco has both the USD/ORU and NDSU/WIU games on their two channels. So far both illustrate this year's parity. WIU has led or been close the entire first half and ORU has been within 6 or 8 a lot of the second half - and both are on the road. No one will be safe in Sioux Falls.
