Going to 2OT in Fargo. NDSU is down to 5 players as 2 have fouled out. They have one player with 4 fouls and if she fouls out they won't have enough players. I think they only dressed 7.

What's going on with USD? What's going on with NDSU?

USD doesn't like to play defense. Their offense is one of the best but that isn't going to cut it if they want to beat the Jacks. I wouldn't be surprised if SDSU beats USD by 10+ on Sunday with the game being at Frost.
NDSU played SDSU tough until late in the game. They have a couple good players in Whittle and Thunstedt.

Historically the Jacks have struggled against athletic teams that like to score (think ORU) so I'm going to say it could be a close one. Not to mention that the rivalry always makes things interesting
From what I've seen on TV (which, granted, has not been a lot), the USD women don't look particularly athletic. They are good shooters and good ball handlers, and they have valuable experience. But they are not very fast, bouncy or deep.

Agreed. I would not describe them as athletic either, certainly not compared to the OOC competition we have seen. They have some good shooters, a decent post and a do-it-all guard that we are all familiar with. When things are clicking, they can be very good. That has not happened a lot this year, though. It's hard to say what they will do at Frost.
The men's race tightened up a bit with IUPUI and FW taking their first loss. FW will probably fade into the middle of the pack with the loss of their star, but they looked pretty solid last night. Those shooters are dangerous. It will be interesting to see how they handle Omaha tomorrow.
WBB WIU beats Denver 63-60. WIU goes to 3-2 and Denver is 2-3 for conference.
Western Ill let Iowa escape with a win in OT in OOC play. They could have easily won that game in regulation, but they let them tie it instead, and Iowa dominated in OT.They led or were very close the whole game.I think W. ILL is a very capable team some games, some not. That makes them unpredictable,so therefore dangerous.
At least with IUPUI and USD,we know we'll have to play very good, maybe W. Ill too. These three games are the same three we close out the regular season with, with the exception the last three will be road games for the Jacks. It would be nice to be one game up on each before facing them at their home court.
This will be a very interesting theree game home stand coming up.
