FW 68 Denver 51, at Denver. Hagerman 22 pts, Rinehart 23 pts for FW.
Weird year this one is....FW played with out their star Haley Siebert, is she injured?
Road teams have won the last four games played reversing the trend of home teams usually winning at home.
that jacks loss at denver is a head scratcher. FW goes into denver, and apparently without siebert and win by 17?well, maybe denver can pull off another head scratcher as i believe yotes head out there.

USD has Denver and the Jacks on the road, IUPUI and W. ILL at home. Could be Denver brings more energy to the game when playing at home, when they play the top Conference teams, and can pull off the upset, lets hope so.
Wish we hadn't lost at Denver, would have been the perfect scenario to meet USD head to head for a tie of the Conference title at stake on our home floor. The interest that would have drawn. My main concern now is winning out our last 4 games and sitting pretty for the Conference Tourney as #1 or #2 seed.
W. Ill is coming on strong, have to hold them off and hope the Yotes can do us a favor and knock them off at home. Lot's of strange things could develop yet. Oops, forgot that we play them yet too. Our destiny is pretty much in our own hands and that's win out the last four games

might have been more interesting if the Western Illinois games were flipped (with yotes), but, it is what it is. stat wise, never payed close attention to those 2nd games on a road trip, but, would believe that second game odds are a bit more difficult.
So where do we sit with the tie breakers? right now since we have played western 1 time that we hold the time breaker overthem to keep in 2nd place as of now correct? The last couple games are going to be interesting to see where it sorts everyone out.

Yes, seems teams make adjustments the second time around, and are more difficult to beat the second time. But we are at home this time, still like our odds.

Head to head, then go through the standings by order til a tie is broken and one team gains the advantage?Something like that anyway.

There's still so much to be sorted out among SDSU, WIU and IUPUI. We certainly are in charge of the situation, having already beaten WIU on the road and getting IUPUI on our home court.
IUPUI and WIU both end the season with trips to Brookings and Vermillion. That's their opportunity to make a big pre-tournament statement. More likely, they'll both go into the tournament on two-game losing streaks seeded somewhere in the 3-5 range.
If SDSU wins out and USD stumbles in any of their other three games (@ DEN, WIU and IUPUI) we should get the #1 seed (based on our sweep of ORU). However, this could fall apart if ORU falls in the standings.
NDSU's quick start to the conference season might be just enough to keep them from falling to #8, but I think they are currently the worst team in the league. They've lost six straight and eight of ten - many of them by wide margins. Getting to play them in the first round might be a nice consolation prize if we fail to earn that #1 seed.
Obviously, we can't lose another game until we gain a game on W. Ill. Each game lost from here on out affects not only second place, but negatively in the tie breakers. We win out and we'll have an excellent chance the others won't. In fact, we'll have given USD,IUPUI,W. ILL , and UNO all another loss if we win our last 4 games. That would just about garauntee we get 2nd or better. We lose one game ,our chances drop dramatically. One thing to mention also,W. Ill has a 2-0 record with IUPUI, we are 0-1 and play them again, but we are 1-0 against W. Ill though.Too many ifs to adequately predict the outcome yet.
