  • 2015 Summit WBB

It appears that WIU, USD, and SDSU are the top section of the conference right now. Maybe NDSU will come after that as the Indiana schools look weaker than they have for the past couple of years. Denver, ORU, and Omaha will be scrambling to stay off the bottom. After last night, Denver is a candidate for the cellar. Omaha lost a home game by 16 to the Yotes and ORU lost big to NDSU at Fargo who has struggled mightily the past couple of years. WIU will replace IUPUI at the top of conference.

I am surprised to see USD down to ORU 31 to 22 at halftime.

Bison are in first place with 3-0 record. They defeat the Jags at home 68-63.

Kind of ridiculous that a team gets their first three conference games at home.

            81-65 ORU over USD.

ORU is 242 in RPI, USD is 68.

Time to rethink that "USD is the favorite" talk? Smoked by a bad team.

I'll be surprised if the Bison keep the winning streak going once they hit the road. If they can, my hats off to them.

Douple probably felt the need to do so with how bad they have been these past couple of seasons. The Bison have 5 of their next 6 games on the road. That stretch will tell if they are for real or not.

A game to keep a eye on today is NDSU @ Denver. Can the Bison win on the road? If the Bison lose today every team will already have 1 loss.

The other Summit League game today is ORU at IPFW. ORU is coming off a convincing win over USD.

Bison luck again...first road venture a weak Denver team. They'll probably win and be 4-0 with the season so far.
