Wasn't sure if this was smack, but I figure by the tone of the letter, it might be...

USD D-I move

The University of South Dakota should not move up to Division I athletics. A move now would be extremely poor timing. If USD can win the NCAA D-II football and basketball championships in the next few years, then maybe it could consider a move to D-I.
Ask State fans whether they are happy with the move to D-I.
Well, Tim, I can't speak for everyone on this board, but I can say I'm happy as Hell we moved up to D-1! We're playing great competition and keeping competitive ourselves (granted MBB took a bit of a hit, but the nice thing about hitting bottom is there's no place to go but up!). And despite what some people say about the MCC, or Division I-AA football, we have been holding our own against some very tough opponents. Better than beating the crap out of Upper Iowa or Truman State, finishing 10-1 and NOT making the playoffs!
