Well, you can still buy them with your favorite team's logo from NFL.com but I'm pretty sure they're not being sold anymore as protective equipment. But, one thing they do still make that is pretty awesome is pie. I'm a major fan of Perkins' French Silk Pie.

      Excellent choice!

French Silk rocks! We usually get one from Baker's Square, but may have to check out Perkins next time around.

My take on the issue is that I don't want to see him go to UNI or USD over SDSU. SDSU doesn't want to have to play against him. If Stig offers then you can probably assume he has his head on straight. If he goes FBS that's great. But if he goes somewhere in FCS and becomes a star, then I'd be mad for the coaches for not trying to go after him. I agree that it's a long shot for him to come to Brookings, but imagine playing against him if he was playing for USD or UNI.
Let him go to UNI or USD. We have our backs. We don't need him. Unless he can coach our QB to make better decisions.
-South Dakotan by birth, a Jackrabbit by choice.

Who?? A small wide reciever that hasn't played running back in two years or a 5th year senior that didn't get a carry all season. I would rather take my chances with a Big Ten caliber running back.

You serious, Clark? Wegher is heads and shoulders above any back we have ( whoever that would be).

Agreed. I don't think we are in any position to be turning away talent like that.

Who? We don't have a running back on our team with more than a handful or two of carries in their career. Wegher would be a welcome addition.

If I am out of line delete the post, but I seem to remember hearing about Anthony Watson's extracurriculars with the opposite sex. No one ever wanted to throw him off the team while he and Koenig were leading the Jacks into the transition.

Do any of the people who have special insight into Mr. Wegher's psyche, morality, and personality know what kind of pie he likes?

I want Wegher to be a Jackrabbit, but at the same time, if it doesn't happen I won't be devastated.

I heard Key lime is high on his list of choices in terms of pie.

As for Wehger and pie....I would guess that he doesn't stop after one piece, but has two instead.
