Re: miss our old rivalries
Congrats jackmd. I thought that SDSUFAN might win the prize for the first to jump on me for expressing this opinion. I merely agreed with sdman insofar as his point went, much in the same way that my initial comment in this vein was intended. By expressing a personal opinion as to how the D1 move might affect me personally, it was not my intent to isolate my opinion in contrast to the betterment of the university and the state of SD. I do agree that the move holds tremendous possibilities in that regard; on the other hand, merely verbalizing thoughts about good things from the past should not be construed as whining or naysaying. Our association with the NCC is now over (as the NCC itself will soon be). That does not mean that the once great NCC was bad for SDSU.
As to chastising/whining, neither apply with me because I don't get that worked up about this whole thing. I come here for information and amusement and let whatever comes my way slide right off my broad shoulders. 8)
