I think Allison is under rated as to how big of a part she can play on this team. She can bring the ball up and pass like no other and cause the other team to turn it over with her defense. She does not really have to score on this team.

I agree with your defensive assessment....I don't agree that anyone does not have to score on this team...if she gets open looks...she needs to take the shot....otherwise the defense will sag and double penetration by boever, corneman...etc

They're ranked #12 and were picked to win the NSIC. They've got 8 players back from the title team, including several sophomores and juniors who got minutes last year. I'd guess they're better than Wayne.

I wasn't inferring they might not have a good team...but am pointing out, in all fairness, that this team isn't the National Championship team of last year and lost three very good starters. In addition, the ratings this year came before they lost one of their more promising players to injury for this year, according to Tiffany's father (and I know that pre-season ratings often reflect how a team did the previous year).
