Lavin said DI is the same as the NCC on the radio today. Not that its relevant at all. We just beat Oregon, thats right, Oregon a PAC-10 team. A university that was headed for a BCS bid. Impressive to say the least.

NCC, if I recall correctly, was the prefix for the starships in the United Federation of Planets.

NCC-1701, for instance, was the Enterprise . . .

I am not enough of a Star Trek geek to know what NCC stood for, however . . .

Our teams depth is really impressive. Three of our top players not even suited up and they still get the job done. Let's not make Oregon something they are not. To quote Denny Green, "They were who we thought they were!"

No smack intended, just what one of the NCC coaches said on the radio today.

We beat Oregon. South Dakota State University defeats Oregon. I like the way that sounds better than South Dakota State Univesity defeats Augustana.
