We beat Oregon. South Dakota State University defeats Oregon. I like the way that sounds better than South Dakota State Univesity defeats Augustana.
I'm mainly trying to, um, how do I put this delicately . . .

Keep the thread on-subject. Yeah. That will work.

Not try to sound like smack but if Chad Lavin says that D1 is just like the NCC why is he going to quit.

AJ just talked about the big weekend for football, volleyball, and both basketball teams!

How happy do you think he is to be a Jackrabbit right now?

Obviously, not as happy as we are to still have him here but I'm just sayin'.

Missouri beat us last year in Columbia, a game that SDSU should have won. (I was there, Mizzou's WBB team is NOT better than SDSU's, we just had a dreadful game).

I want all y'all Jackrabbit fans to show up in Frost for a little Sunday afternoon Tiger meat. You'll be in town anyway for The Big Game--stick around and back the best women's basketball team South Dakota has ever, EVER seen.

Rep Points for that! This weekend is going to be so awesome...I can't wait!

AJ...at the end of his post game interview mentioned how big this weekend is for our university. Football game, volleyball team playing in Summit League Championships and then the men's BB and women's BB game. Wow...it doesn't get much better. I looking forward to this weekend so much more than I was Hobo Day weekend.

              Cheers to the weekend!!!

Not going to discount this weekend, I can hardly wait myself. Just can't help but think about next season when the football team could be playing for a shot at the playoffs and the women and men can be setting up a run for March Madness as well. Man its gonna be great to have these transition years behind us.

Didn't listen to it.... GOD.... they really need to fix that... Its the reason I don't want games televised now because that is probable that something dumb would happen like that.

Great win.... great start to the season I like the fact that the womens team are getting those contracts with those recognizable schools (helps with recruitment, fan base and post season)

Waiting to read Oregon's story on its athletic website...but, its seems the Ducks publicists are in no hurry to report.

GoJacks.com quickly posted a short note on the big victory in Eugene:

                        Actually, there is no meaning...

When Gene Roddenberry came up with "Star Trek", all civilian aircraft had an "NC-" prefix for their identifying number. Roddenberry came up wit the extra "C" to make it sound more futuristic.

The Daily Emerald story calls it an upset. That might be more saving face than accurate.
