From Sagarin - BIG GAME for JACKS @ Oakland The top two teams in the Summit. A road sweep this weekend would REALLY bolster the Jacks WNIT bid chances.

    19 SUMMIT = 65.76 65.44 ( 21) TEAMS= 10
Women's College Basketball 2007-2008 Div I games only through games of 2008 January 31 Thursday

    89 Oakland = 75.78 11 6 69.00( 171) 0 1 | 1 3 |

This compilation of all the polls seems to be the most accurate of projecting the teams to the NCAA's and WNIT.

Jacks are one spot ahead of Oakland Griz (91/92) to lead the Summit. Summit undefeated WIU are 189, behind ORU at 167.

    201 NDSU
    226 IUPUI
    231 UMKC
    258 IPFW
    297 SUU
    326 CENTENARY

really need to win our next three games to seperate us from the rest of the Summit. But defintely need Western IL to get knocked off so to be tied or below Jacks for the regular season title

Here is the link to the Sagarin ratings. They finally have them updated for 2007-08.

    http://www.rpiratings.com/womrate.htm

SDSU is currently ranked 51st and Oakland is ranked 35th. The Summit League as a whole is ranked 22nd out of 32. The Summit League is just ahead of the Horizon, interestingly enough AJ nearly left SDSU to go to Wisconsin-Green Bay in the Horizon. W-GB is also ranked 108th, 57 spots below SDSU. The Summit League, with the addition of SDSU, NDSU and IPFW is a stronger conference for women's basketball than the Horizon. Oral Roberts is 145, which is good for 3rd place in the Summit League. Oral Roberts is our next opponent on Saturday.

Go Big, Go Blue, Go State!!!

I would support it being sticky, at least as long as we keep receiving votes or when we move into the top 25.

Any site that puts Tennessee and Maryland at 22 and 23 with Arkansas State ahead of them has about 0 credibility - just on the face of it. I would put no stock in this site - early or not!!

Our other out of non-conference oppenents: Missouri=215, Wisconsin=222, Utah= 273, Southern Illinois=335, UC Riverside= 63, Valpo=321 and Northern Iowa= 110. Our conferences SOS is #2 and our conference RPI is 6th. NOT BAD. Let me know what you guys think. Sorry if this is irrelevant.

Good info but way too early to be looking at polls or RPI rankings.
