    Re: AP poll

I found a list of the number of polls that each school has been in the AP Poll since the poll started. SDSU has been in the poll 11 times this year and will be in the poll 12 times after they release the last poll.

Looking at this list though really puts into perspective what SDSU was able to accomplish this year. Marist for example has been in the poll 7 times. I would have thought they would have been in the poll more than that over the years. Creighton has been in 3 polls. There are numerous schools that have never had the success SDSU had this year in all of their years combined. I mean Indiana has only been in the AP poll once in its entire history? SDSU will be in the AP poll 12 times this year alone.

    Here is the whole list

Jacks stay at No. 17 in the AP Poll. They did gain 44 more votes and now have 368 points in the poll, compared to 324 last week.

Yeah, I think Vandy is going to make a huge jump. The loss at TN is now looking not as bad, and the second win over Auburn is going to get them a big boost. Too bad Purdue didn't pull it out over Ohio State.

Actually, the rankings have become secondary to me know. I am looking at the wins and losses in all these conference tournaments solely on how it may affect our seeding.

Vandy should jump also after winning the SEC championship.

Xavier lost to Dayton and Texas with 3 consecutive losses. Look for SDSU to move up to #15 in the AP today.

This is about were I expected us to be in the AP. If I had to guess in the coaches I'd say 14.

Nice jump! The sportswriters finally caught on to what the coaches have known for weeks.

One of the top three records in the nation. Only UConn has more wins/fewer losses.

What ELITE area for Jackrabbits to celebrate their first year of eligibility!

Kansas State is falling apart, lost to Missouri 52-43, lost to Neb 52-47, both unranked, lost to Texas A&M 71-45 (26 pts) bad loss.Is there such a thing as un-peaking? They might fall out of top 25.

#19 Pittsburg lost to Louisville, sure they're ranked higher, but they lost by 24 pts, bad loss.
