Re: AP poll
A few wins early against those tough nonconference opponents and we just may break the top 25

The last weekend of the Summit League games starts with the following Vaporia ratings:
70 SDSU
114 Oakland
163 NDSU
175 Oral Roberts
194 IUPUI
204 Western IL
241 IPFW
259 UMKC
304 SUU
330 Centenary
The ESPN Bracketologist has Western Ill as the worst NCAA entrant, which at 204, is likely correct. However, any of the 8 eligible teams could be there.
The bracketing for the Summit tourney is going to be very interesting, and tied to this weekend's results. Three teams could end up at 12-6, possibly 4 if Oral Roberts would win the road sweep through the Dakotas (extremely unlikely at Frost Arena)
If NDSU wins both games, they would be in for number 2, but like Jacks don't get to make tourney.
WIU could be second outright, but have to win at IUPUI.
Oakland should sweep UMKC & SUU on the road.
Glad we're locked in for the Summit League regular season title!
Hope we get a good run of home games through the WNIT.

Re: AP poll
The Jacks move up from 91 to 78 in the NCAA RPI. That is a big move for one week. Especially when you are above 100 in the RPI, it is tough to move up this late in the year. We only played one game this week too.

This compilation of all the polls seems to be the most accurate of projecting the teams to the NCAA's and WNIT.
Jacks are one spot ahead of Oakland Griz (91/92) to lead the Summit. Summit undefeated WIU are 189, behind ORU at 167.
201 NDSU
226 IUPUI
231 UMKC
258 IPFW
297 SUU
326 CENTENARY
really need to win our next three games to seperate us from the rest of the Summit. But defintely need Western IL to get knocked off so to be tied or below Jacks for the regular season title
85 SDSU
106 Oakland
174 ORU
194 NDSU
204 WIU
205 IUPUI
238 IPFW
243 UMKC
290 SUU
329 Cent
If the two xDSU's hold their home turf (SDSU keep extending that 18-game home winning streak). NDSU's home Summit losses at SDSU/Oakland (both roughly 100 above Bison), then Jacks are pretty solidly locked in for the title.
Home turf, Pork nite, 100+ rating difference, team at full strength, playing with the drive to THRIVE, GET OUT AND BACK THE JACKS SAT/MON!
Like Volleyball before them, let's get the title our first year in SUMMIT LEAGUE.
