I will have to go back and watch this one tonight on ESPN+. I will need a diversion from election night coverage anyway, and I would like to see this year's team in action. Without having seen it, it will be interesting to get minutes for our many capable players especially this year.

That's unfortunate because they showed last season that they are very capable players. That's the downside, if you can call it that. of having the deep roster that the coaching staff has put together."Tell the truth and pay your bills and you don't have to back down from anyone"--My Dad

Frankly it also seems clear that the Meyers, Timmer, and Vasecka are going to be the go to scorers on this team. Everyone else is going to have to find their 4-8 ppg within the system. There will be days when they are hot and go off but there will be days when they are spending more time on the bench because someone else is hot. It's nice to have the depth to be able to play a hot hand versus having to play what you have.

I'm not sure how she continued to play as well as she did last season with all the minutes she had to play. As far as the bench players go, there will be plenty of games, especially when we hit the conference, where there will be minutes for the bench. But last night wasn't one of them.

Not sure if the possession arrow was in Rice's favor. If that was true then I see it even more. Make sure Rice couldn't go for the tie up and get the ball out of bounds on their end.The Zen philosopher Basha once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.'
