Getting Selland back will make a world of difference in the kind of shots that players like Burckhard , Irwin and Nelson get. They have trouble creating their own shots, but are much better as secondary options when Myah draws double teams. It's too easy to play this current team straight up.

Mo St is impressive. Physical game. We just can’t string it together on both ends of the floor consistently yet against these high level teams. Potential certainly there. Can’t get Selland back again quickly enough.

You have to run Irwin or Nelson through a couple of screens to try and get a better look at a three than what the Jacks got there.

It was ugly not doubt. MSU puts a lot of pressure on the passes on D, but we made some of those steals waaaaaaay too easy. If we could clean up our TO's it obviously would help immensely, the problem is we have been turnover prone for a long time now. This team without Myah in the game has a real hard time getting a real flow on offense the last couple three seasons.

Ugly is fair. Way too easy is also accurate. Jackrabbits had both soft passes picked off and forcing passes into the paint that were stolen. 25 turnovers should be the highlight of problems followed by the 15 offensive boards for the Lady Bears. Meyer is doing a great job of learning the PG. She is still realizing how good the opposition can be and adjusting her drives and passes. I would also like to see her take some more 3 pt and 15' shots. She is a 46% 3 pt shooter who did not attempt a long distance shot last night. Irwin looked healthier again last night compared to the UNI game. Theisen had a solid game which included 4 blocks. Burckhard, Theisen, & Nelson all turned in 32-35 minutes of play. Selland as a playmaker would certainly enhance Meyer's ability and likely others. Hopefully the shoulder will allow her to play Saturday. The Summit performance will define the post season opportunities with 6 OOC losses.
