Seems like every time USD drives down the floor, a foul is called on SDSU. It seems like SDSU is being equally aggressive on the offensive end but is not getting the calls.

We haven't been blown out on the road yet,this game either ,just can't string enough together this half,lots of FT's for USD,we have to actually make a FG every trip

We refuse to recruit big girls who can box out and rebound. And it shows. This will, apparently, never change.

not something i expected, especially at this point, but, western illinois has turned into a must win.

No audio or stats here in Frost but it sure looks like USD flipped the script in 2nd half. Defense, rebounding, hustle and trips to FT line. - all seem to tip USD's way.

Final: South Dakota 82, SDSU 78.

Jacks lead by as many as 10, but couldn't make the plays in the second half.

USD shot about 20 more FTs (Don't have the stats right in front of me) and won the rebounding battle.

SDSU was without Waytashek, who could've made some plays down the stretch.

EDIT: USD: 30-41 from the line, SDSU 18-22.

Earlier in the first half, we never got one out of bounds call on the baseline under the basket, not one. I was paying attention to that. USD barely won, with all kinds of extra possessions, fouls, let's throttle them at Frost,no doubt in my mind now that we can, we looked the better team much of this game.

They keep this up the tourney will become a must win cause I dont see winning the league regular season title this year or the wnit auto bid.
