Friday night the Lady Jacks host 19th ranked USC. Lets fill up Frost and welcome home the Ladies from their victory at Middle Tennessee.

This is a game nobody should miss as it's easily the most marquee program to visit Frost Men or Women.

I'll be there, and I hope to bring several friends.

It would be awesome to fill Frost again. How many does it hold without the upper deck end bleachers extended? I have noticed they seem to have some kind of fencing attached to the top, so I don't know if they can be pulled out or not. I seem to remember talk of them not being stable enough to hold a big crowd, but maybe that is just the voice in my head speaking.

I always thought the same, but they were pulled out last year for the girls HS basketball tourney. My guess is they keep them in unless they expect a larger than normal crowd.

This would focus the noise a bit and not let it get too spread out.

They pull them out when they expect large crowds. I believe the fencing was added because they can't pull them out as far sonce the lower level chairs were put in.

I would think there would be a good student crowd at this game with student sticking around the weekend before Thanksgiving. Maybe some of the students on the Board can weigh in. Any on-campus hype/marketing for the game against USC.

"The SDSU women’s basketball team hosts No. 19 USC on Friday. Yes, that USC, the Women of Troy, as they call themselves. If the Jacks can follow up Monday’s win at Middle Tennessee State by beating USC, there’s a good chance they’ll start getting votes in the polls. But the number I’m most interested in is not the final score, but the attendance. If this matchup doesn’t entice the casual sports fan to crawl out of their hole, what will?"

I personally think that he is ABSOLUTELY right! So here is my plee to all the students and fans that love SDSU, and especially the casual fan:
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make it a point to show up for this game!! Not only that, but bring...no drag, two friends with you who you know could care less!
If the Lady Jacks could pull this out, it might be the most fun you'll have on a Friday night all year!
Having poor attendence to this event will be a "black eye" on SDSU in the eyes of all who would like to see the D-I move blow up in our faces, win or lose. Let's not let that happen!!!

I would love to be there but my wife doesn't look kindly upon me driving for 6 hours one way to attend a bball game. Even though she is a huge fan of SDSU women's basketball (she resided with a couple players when they made their made their 1st and 2nd trip to the Elite 8). I'll be listening via the internet broadcast though (my wife will be as well).

Trust me, if I could, I would. We were pretty lucky to make it back for the WBB, FB vs. WP, and VB a couple weeks ago and we'll be coming back for Thanksgiving in a couple weeks. Gotta spend some time at home too.
