Lost the game in the first 5 mins of 2nd half. I've seen it all too often. Personnel issues cost this team in big games on the road. Good run, not great because there were no road wins.

Turnover. That's what's losing us the game. And almost every other game we played this year.

Jacks shoot 40%, UTEP shoots 33%.

However, 21 turnovers for the Jacks. 9-13 from the FT line for SDSU. 23-30 from the FT line for UTEP.

Paluch had a good look at the end of regulation. Damn. Nice season for the ladies. Got to beat some big teams.

Why are their TO's is the bigger question.

Why are there so many is an even better one. A good defense will force even a great team to have a few turnovers, but 20+ is way, way too many. That's 10 to 15 FG opportunities that are simply wasted.

I'll say it. Its easy to force turnovers when you're allowed to be way more physical. The Jacks played their hearts out to have a shot. The officiating was atrocious. There is no way we should have had more fouls called.

Seriously? These young ladies just took us on one of the best rides I've been on as a fan. With approx 36 hrs notice, they jumped on a plane, and headed to a place just north of the devils armpit, and played in front of 12,000 fans...which I assume is the largest crowd the Jacks have played in front of in the entire history of the program. Good run, but not great? Get outta here with that. We just made the Final Four of the WNIT and beat 4 solid programs to get there. We had no business even being in this game and hung tough the entire way. I've seen it all too often? Classy. Personnel issues cost this team? Try this...personnel issues allowed us to defeat 3 Big East teams and 3 Big 10 teams this year. I could go on, but I'll just stop.

Agree...well said. We should be proud of this team and the accomplishments. Those 4 home games were a blast. I hope we can have some sort of welcome home celebration.

This is the old Texas Western coached by Dan Haskins that they made a movie about. No shame as I see it. Refs calls seemed to favor the home team, but maybe its the fan in me. Thanks and Jack1 got rep pts from me for this post. I don't think I could have said it better either bigticket1.

Agree. 2 turnovers on Waytashek were when she was thrown to the ground after a rebound. Or the dumb offensive fouls on gabby. We shot better percentages tan them but they got to the line 30 times to our 13. Do the math. We out rebounded them also. We beat them on a neutral court.

One of those "turnovers" was our player,after securing a rebound, got pushed,or bumped so hard she had to move her feet or fall down,she was called for traveling.How do I know this?It was stated by TV on his live chat.
