Calling that a "line" is a bit of a stretch. Anyway ,12,000 in attendance is impressive. I read where the average attendance for the NCAA womens first round games were 4,000.

According to this article, the average attendance for ALL 2013 NCAA Tourney games was 5883. Well done UTEP and SDSU.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Brookings County that will be in effect from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon. Rain and snow is likely to begin this evening with snow accumulations being less than an inch. The potential for an additional 7 to 8 inches of snow exists during the day Thursday, with another 4 inches of snow possible Thursday evening into Friday. Winds will increase from 10 to 15 mph on Thursday to between 15 and 25 mph Thursday evening into Friday, with gusts approaching 35 mph.

I would hope they wouldnt take a home game away from us because of the weather. Its going to be done friday morning and half melted by saturday. But hey, lets win tonight first before we worry about how the weather can screw us out of a home game

Comparing regional to WNIT individual games is not exactly apples to apples. The WNIT was fortunate to have some good home venues of El Paso and Brookings in this tourney.
