If the bids are all submitted prior to the tournament, they should know that either SDSU or U of M would be the host at this point. The post game interview indicated that we would know by 7:30 where the next game will be played. I would root for SMU since Minnesota will likely have a higher bid if they are hosting today. It was good to have the home court advantage today!

The U of M hosted a doubleheader NIT for men and women today. The men defeated St Mary in the first game. The cost was $20 for both games...or you could stay and watch the women following the men. That is nice problem to have to fill the place. I wonder how many will show up for the women only.

Gophers women up 46-29 end of the 1st half. I hope Sell bid high seeing we could play UM...I'll be very disappointed if we don't get this game at home.

By my count there were less than 50 students there today. I know it's a Sunday, but that's pathetic. That should put to rest any debate over where the students get to sit.

I was expecting more attendance overall based on the WNIT game versus Indiana. I bet the GA section was only 40% full and the ends weren't pulled out.

AJ referenced the crowd noise as like "the good ol' days" in the post game on WNAX. That makes TK sad

Both Minnesota and SMU have the men playing NIT. Today the Gophers were able to make a doubleheader. Maybe that will give us an edge for Frost.

Gopher lead down to 9. Banham , their best player and leading scorer in the Big 10 out with some type of knee injury and not expected to retrn

There were 600 free tickets for students too. I've heard every excuse in the book for their lack of attendance this year. All BS.

On a more positive note.... This WNIT run is now a pretty big deal. Facing the Gophers in the Sweet 16. That will get a lot of local press. I would have loved to see the Jacks extend their NCAA tourney streak to 6, but another one-and-done beating as a 13 seed would not have been as fun as this 3-game stint. The experience of this WNIT run, plus the thirst for revenge could be really good for next year's team too.
